Local Tennessee ABC Server Permit Classes to the Public

The State of Tennessee requires all servers and bartenders who serve alcohol to attend an approved responsible alcohol program to receive a State issued Alcohol Beverage Commission server permit.  This permit is good for 5 years.

The requirements to receive this permit besides attending the 5 hour responsible alcohol program is; you must be 18 years of age to serve alcohol as a server or a bartender in the State of Tennessee and you can not have any felonies in the last four years or certain felonies in the last 8 years. Knoxville Bartending School offers the National Restaurant Association approved class twice a month on a Sunday.  Class time is 1:00 – 6:00pm.  Per Tennessee requirements this class is 5 hours long and we offer a break.  Please call (865) 693-6609 to pre-register if you need an ABC card, the cost is $70.00.
